In cooperation with the Music Educators National Conference (MENC), our Society sponsors an outreach program to encourage the use of barbershop style music in school music programs. The purpose of the festival is not for use as a recruiting tool for barbershop chapters, but to encourage and attract young men into school vocal music curricula. Sheet music is provided by the Manitowoc Chapter, with selection of the numbers by the clinicians. A teaching quartet will be provided to aid the clinicians.

Music will be available prior to the festival so the students may become familiar with it before the festival day. Local barbershoppers will be on hand for coaching and to help the young men learn the music, if necessary. The festival will be fun and educational, and will stress the importance of male involvement in vocal music, which can be enjoyed for the rest of their lives.

The Clinician for the Festival is Duane "Duke" Enders, a seasoned barbershopper with international quartet and chorus competition experience. Duane directed both Plymouth and Pride of the Valley, Appleton, choruses. Teaching Quartet will be One Step at a Time, Manitowoc, with Chordsmen members Bryan Krejcarek, Trent Dondlinger, Andrew Howell, and David Wanek.
